Home Improvements...
Ben did a marvelous job at putting in our new dining room windows and blinds!!! It looks so great!!! I finished painting the window trim (thanks to my mom watching the kids at her house...thanks again, Mom!!!), so the blue tape can finally come off the wall, and we are done with that room!!!!
Oh, I made new pillows again...I keep changing the living room...I am into the "red" now. AND...we found the best painting done by the newest, up and coming artist in town...Pete(r) Frederick (my best friend's husband)! We found his painting at the world famous Sauerkraut Festival! We have been wanting a painting for our dining room wall and here it is! I told Amy to tell Pete that I need a "spring scene" now to change out the pictures during the year!! :)
AND...last night we got...HENS...6 of them!!! Caleb was so excited to see the new chickens today he could hardly contain himself!! He was so cute! (Lucy was getting too excited also, so I put her in the outhouse so that I could show Caleb the chickens safely without Lucy trying to eat them!! (Lucy was OK with that, Ben)..ha ha!!) The chickens went right outside when Caleb came in the coop...he had to see where they went! Too cute!

Catching up...
I have been so busy lately, but here are some pics from Aug. when we went to a park with friends Amy and Ann and kids...I thought these were so cute and funny of Hannah crawling around in the water on the cement...nothing stops her!

"New" Blessings
Well, we have had quite a week or so...I have to be quick for now, but...
God protected Ben in an accident where our Saturn was "totalled" last Sunday. Thankfully, Ben is just fine, but it was quite an emotional experience. But God was so kind in His protection and provision through it all, and even provided a "new"/used car for us this past Saturday!! (I do not have pics of that yet)
And our family (Ben's side) is in town for the week and they were so gracious to bring our new, lifetime table and chairs for us (that we ordered through Uncle Ross)!!!...and here is THE amazing Rocking Chair Horse that Caleb "helped" Grandpa make from scratch while the kids stayed at their house in July!! Hannah warmed right up to Grandma again (with "her" screwdriver in hand still), and Caleb got right to work with Tools again with Grandpa and Daddy!!!

"Cousin" Michael
We had fun having Michael, my nephew from Vermont, here in OH for 2 weeks. It went so quickly, but here are some highlights of our time together!

Hannah's 1st Birthday!!!
We enjoyed having family from IN here (IN Rueggies), Aunt Sarah, Aunt Rachel/Uncle Patrick (and baby), Uncle Mark/Aunt Nutan and family, Uncle Nathan, and Amy and kids. We were able to borrow the Sno-Cone Machine and Blow Up Bouncing thing from AWANA...it was fun!!! And my cousin Grace helped me with Hannah's Lady Bug cake--Thanks again, Grace!!!

Our Messy Girl...Hannah did not mind the icing and COLD ice cream like did when he had it for the first time at his 1st birthday...she liking it all!!!
